#018 - Aaaaaand Tinitus.

Last week was a short run of shows with my band, Cold in Berlin.
First we played at the Queen of Hoxton, with Italian pals 'Eels on Heels' (or, after a couple of drinks, 'Meals on Wheels').
Fun was had, I did really like the venue. It was a bit disarming when a large drunk man mistook us for a Karaoke Machine and stole singer Maya's Mic though.
The next day it was off to the tiny Mothers Ruin in Bristol. It was a long drive and a long wait but was a joy to play none-the less. Bristol is a bit more rough than the residents would ever admit, but I like going there. It puts me on edge. We enjoyed dodging real-life zombies on the streets (don't ask), and made it to All Bar One for a mediocre meal surrounded my mediocre decor and even more mediocre humans.
The following day involved a long wait for our show in Swindon, so like any punk band would do, we spent it in posh tea rooms sipping indian tea. The show was fun, if a bit quiet, and then it was back home to London to nurse our ringing ears.
